Throughout the month of November, seven AYLUS San Clemente Branch Members collected bottles and cans in preparation for their 7th monthly recycling event.
The cans and bottles are made of an assortment of metal, glass, and plastic. Before selling them, members first organize them by material, with each costing different amounts of money by weight. They then weigh them and are given money depending on the weight of the bottles and cans. Altogether, members raised $31.05 which is almost $6 more than September’s event! Money that is earned from selling the bottles and cans is donated to the Natural Reserve at Rancho Mission Viejo.
