12 Members of the AYLUS Morris branch came together to host a meaningful event focused on spreading joy and fostering community connections. The initiative involved collecting candy, gift wrapping materials, and other essentials to brighten the lives of families in need. Volunteers reached out to neighbors, friends, and local organizations, encouraging donations and showcasing the power of collective generosity. Once the items were gathered, the team organized a fun-filled wrapping session on 11/27 afternoon 2pm -4:30pm, where participants worked together to create beautifully packaged gifts. These packages, filled with candy, thoughtful items, and holiday cheer, were then delivered to Chatham Methodist church which will be distributed to underprivileged people before holiday, ensuring that no one felt left out during the festive season. At the end, AYLUS Morris branch totally collected 60 pounds candy, making 180 gift bags.
Through their efforts, the AYLUS Morris branch not only supported those in need but also inspired others to take action and make a difference in their own communities. This event highlighted the group’s commitment to service, teamwork, and bringing people closer together.
