On November 23, 2024, volunteers from Pearland led a vibrant session of Bucket Drumming for All at GiGi’s Playhouse Houston, a Down Syndrome Achievement Center. This initiative emphasizes inclusivity through creative and engaging activities.
Event Highlights:
- Activity: Participants and volunteers came together to explore rhythm, teamwork, and creativity through bucket drumming. Each lesson was designed to build coordination, motor skills, and social interaction while providing an inclusive and joyful experience.
- Youth Leadership: This session was planned and conducted by youth leaders who had undergone specialized training in the organization’s newly developed curriculum for special needs activities.
