City and Neighbor Support: Pearland Volunteers Bring Dragon Dance to Old Pearland Farmers’ Market on November 16 2024

On November 16, 2024, Pearland volunteers delighted visitors at the Old Pearland Farmers’ Market with a vibrant Dragon Dance performance.

The volunteers gathered at the market early in the morning to assemble the dragon and prepare for the show. Their performance began in the open space outside the market pavilion, where the lively dance captivated the audience. The volunteers then brought the dragon through the market, stopping at booths to greet vendors and shoppers to the rhythm of traditional music.

The team performed two rounds of the Dragon Dance during their visit, receiving enthusiastic applause and appreciation from the audience for bringing this colorful and cultural display to the community event.
