Over the weekend, members of the Chapel Hill Branch baked homemade cookies for Meals on Wheels, an organization dedicated to alleviating hunger. For years, Meals on Wheels has been providing essential meals to local seniors and others who face challenges accessing food, ensuring they receive the nutrients they need. Our volunteers prepared the cookies in their own kitchens, hoping that these small acts of love and kindness will bring joy to the seniors they serve—and inspire others in our community to do good as well.
Volunteers who participated in this event were Luna Chen (11/17/2024, 1.5 hours), Eric Sun (11/16/2024, 6 hours), Karen Lin (11/17/2024, 6 hours), Owen Xie (11/17/2024, 6 hours), Andrew Zhao (11/17/2024, 6 hours), Alwin Liu (11/17/2024, 6 hours), and Nicholas Wang (11/17/2024, 1.5 hours for packaging).
