On November 16th, 2024, Murrieta AYLUS members conducted a park cleanup at their adopted park.
Splitting into the two groups, the volunteers stepped around a party and bouncy house to collect some stray candy wrappers, before taking paths around the grass to pick up stray pieces of paper. After picking up various scraps of trash, the volunteers met to sweep over the central grass area. Stopping along the playground, they found streamers and other discarded party items alongside more food wrappers, also finding a half-eaten lunch in a bush. They swept around the parking lot and picked up stray pieces of plastic before tossing their bags into the trash.
