The Pearland Branch organized its 4th Health Fair for the Ed White Elementary School community during the school’s family event on the afternoon of June 4th. The event featured partnerships with Hummingbird Community Outreach, Light and Salt Association (LSA), and Bellaire Pediatrics.
LSA provided a range of free services, including Hepatitis C testing, FIT kit distribution, mammogram registration. Bellaire Pediatrics offered weight and height measurements, growth chart assessments, and dietary consultations.
AYLUS volunteers set up a healthy living education booth to promote rainbow dietary habits. Kids and parents who participated in the health fair enjoyed face painting, balloon twisting, and cotton candy as rewards. The event saw a fantastic turnout, with hundreds of school-aged children and parents participating.
