Chapel Hill Branch Bakes Homemade Cookies for MOW on April 21, 2024

Last Sunday, April 21st, the members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill branch worked together to bake hundreds of cookies for Meals on Wheels, a nonprofit dedicated to supplying nutritious meals and companionship to seniors. With everyone’s participation, each cookie became a meaningful contribution to this vital cause. The thought of our homemade treats bringing joy to someone’s day fills us with gratitude. It’s proof that even the smallest acts of kindness from our community can leave a lasting impact on the lives of others.

Volunteers who participated in this event were Yichen Zhao (4 hours), Eric Sun (6 hours), Karen Lin (6 hrs), Luna Chen (2 hrs), Ethan Li (ECHHS – 4 hours), Owen Xie (6 hours) and Nicholas Wang (1.5 hrs wrapping).
