On January 27th, AYLUS Pearland organized the 2nd SMILE Inclusive Play & Learn at West Houston Christian Church. Collaborating with the church youth group, volunteers seamlessly arranged an array of activities, including coloring, balloon twisting, bucket drumming, basketball, and various physical games. Six individuals with special needs, accompanied by their siblings, actively engaged in the event. Participants delighted in coloring Lunar New Year-themed pictures, shooting hoops on the basketball court, and immersing themselves in the rhythmic beats of bucket drumming. Notably, Sharon from LSA Special Needs Care Center led engaging group activities, fostering an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all involved.
