The Heart Pillow is a post-surgical operation support pillow for heart surgeries and/or other surgeries. It is heart-shaped and covered in flannel fabric. It is stuffed with fiberfill (stuffing) to allow the pillow to adjust to each patient’s comfort needs, while still maintaining the needed support required.
The volunteers need go shopping and purchase cloth, ribbon, and stuffing with their own money. The members can make full use of their sparse time at home during weekday and weekend to make heart pillows at home.
One group event is hold on 01/21/203, mainly to demonstrate and teach the team members how to make the heat pillows, starting how to make templates, marking on cloth using template, cutting the fabric, sewing the pillow, and stuffing the pillow with stuffing.
