Chapel Hill Branch Brings Comfort to Cancer Patients with Handwritten Letters in November 2023

In November, two members of the Chapel Hill branch dedicated their time to crafting handwritten letters for cancer patients. These caring notes are part of the Kits to Heart Project, which is dedicated to creating cancer care kits for people fighting cancer. Each handwritten card by our volunteers has messages of encouragement and hope. These special notes, along with other crafts, will be sent to individuals facing breast cancer across the country. We hope that by sending our support, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those going through the tough journey of cancer.

Volunteers who participate in this event are April Zhang (11/31/23, 3 hours) and Kathryne Hong.
