Every year, the AYLUS Pearland branch hosts a Halloween candy drive, which has become a cherished annual event. This year, we introduced a new tradition by offering children face paintings and balloons to enhance the festive.
Our efforts have resulted in a substantial collection of candy, all of which will be dedicated to a worthy cause. The collected candy is carefully packed into individual bags for distribution among children in neighborhoods in Mexico.
A team of dedicated AYLUS volunteers, alongside parent volunteers, collaborated to sort and repack the candy into individual bags. These bags will be sent to a church, where they will be redistributed in December, spreading happiness and joy throughout the holiday season.
Maintaining this tradition is crucial, as it not only benefits the children in Mexico but also teaches local children the importance of giving back to their communities. AYLUS Pearland would like to thank for the support received this year. It is so important to complete our goals before Thanksgiving, especially for the purpose of giving back to those in need.
