Despite the demanding nature of the new academic year, our dedicated volunteers have committed substantial time and dedication to mentoring their Chinese students throughout September and October. Employing diverse teaching techniques, our tutors customize English lessons by selecting stories aligned with the student’s reading proficiency and creating weekly vocabulary lists. Although certain tutors persist in employing traditional teaching approaches like presentations, others have embraced alternative methods by integrating games to facilitate the practice of new vocabulary. As a result of their efforts, the overseas students have notably improved their English grades and enhanced their communicative and comprehension abilities. We extend our gratitude to these volunteers for their unwavering commitment to nurturing these students and we eagerly anticipate further collaboration in the future!
