On November 4th, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) visited the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park (132 Evergreen Road, Edison, NJ 08837) for a wonderful concert.
GPA members presented a music program with fabulous singing, dancing, piano, and more instruments to hundreds of veterans and their families.
Rebuilt in 1999 on 109-acres in Middlesex County, the facility is the most modern, state-of-the-art nursing home in the United States. The 312-bed facility features a “town square” core with resident living areas located around the perimeter. The home is next to Roosevelt Hospital and is easily accessible from Route 1 and Route 287, the Garden State Parkway and the New Jersey Turnpike.
GPA leader Katherine Shi organizes this program (10/29, 3 hrs) with NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Menlo Park.
