On Oct 8, 2023, Pearland volunteers volunteered at the LSA health fair hosted after the grand opening of MedXSunshine Adult Day Care and Home Care Center in the Southwest of Houston.
Volunteers utilized what they have been trained during the summer to assist in Hepatitis C test, FIT kit explanation, All of Us research program promotion and helping to assist senior to fill out various forms.
On October 8, 2023, dedicated volunteers from AYLUS Pearland contributed their time and expertise at the LSA Health Fair. This event was held in conjunction with the grand opening of the MedXSunshine Adult Day Care and Home Care Center, located in the Southwest region of Houston.
These compassionate volunteers drew upon their extensive training acquired during the summer months. Their skills were put to meaningful use as they actively participated in a range of vital activities. This included facilitating Hepatitis C tests, explaining the usage of FIT kits, promoting the All of Us research program, and offering valuable assistance to seniors in filling out various forms.
