We decided to hold a fundraiser event for our TweeTea Boba Shop new items salmon onigiri, Tuna onigiri and spam musubi. Pearland branch shared their onigir making video with us and we appreciate their help. On the day before the event, we purchased fresh salmon fillet, spam canned meat, onigiri seaweed wrappers, onigiri mold, kewpie mayonnaise, and other materials needed for this fundraiser. We gathered together on the afternoon of October 1st, 2023. The first steps were baking salmon at 250 F for 30 minutes after putting salt and olive oil on the top of the salmon, cutting spam into 8 pieces and slightly frying both sides on a non-stick pan. Then we prepared tuna using a cheesecloth to remove water. After that, we started to prepare rice by adding sushi vinegar and rice seasoning. Finally, we were able to make three kinds of onigiri. Yeah!
