On September 24, 2023, AYLUS San Clemente Branch members participated in a trail clearing and trash pickup along Esencia Trail, which is a recreational trail connecting the communities of Esencia and Sendero in Rancho Mission Viejo. The branch members were super excited to get out to the trail and help clean their local environment. By the end of the day, the members were able to collect 5 large bags of trash! All of the members have expressed how meaningful the activity was to them, especially when bikers and EV drivers passed by them, showing their appreciation to our volunteers for helping the environment.
This is the first volunteering activity that the AYLUS San Clemente Branch has performed with four members of the branch participating in this activity. They are Elena Hsieh ( 2 hours ), Laura Liu ( 2 hours ), Edward Leigh ( 2 hours ) and Claire Huang ( 2 hours ).
