On September 9th, four dedicated members of the AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch worked together in a cleanup effort along the Dry Creek Trail, which our team had adopted in partnership with the Town Park and Recreation Department. Recognizing the detrimental effects of litter on plant growth and the trail’s natural ambiance, we spent one and a half hours diligently collecting approximately three bags of discarded items, ranging from abandoned masks to soda cans scattered across the path. Our aspiration is for our collective actions to be beneficial to the environment around us, allowing the trail to remain free of human littering.
