The Chapel Hill Branch put together this awesome volunteer event where we made handmade gifts for Kits to Heart on September 4th. We collected handwritten letters and crochet hats to help make cancer care kits. Our members worked super hard, spending hours creating those crochet hats, and made them extra special with hand-drawn pictures and words of encouragement just for people going through cancer.
We believe that the gifts we made with so much love will totally brighten up the day for those who get them. We wanted to give them hope and strength during their cancer journey, and we hope it makes a big difference in their lives.
