On Friday, August 4th, a group of dedicated and enthusiastic AYLUS volunteers headed out to conduct the first group promotion for the All of Us project. During the week before, the volunteers eagerly prepared for the event by researching about the program on their website and making a PowerPoint presentation.
Upon arrival, the volunteers were warmly greeted by over 20 Asian adults who were eager to learn about the All of Us program. The volunteers were able to provide an engaging and informative promotion session. During the promotion, the volunteers shared important information about precision medicine, including its benefits and how it can improve healthcare outcomes. The volunteers were able to inform and educate more than 20 people at one time, which was much more efficient than conducting one-on-one promotion sessions. At the end of the promotion, a survey was handed out to the adults to get their basic information.
