Chapel Hill Branch Volunteers to Pick up Trash at Bolin Creek Trail on July 22, 2023

In the scorching sun of July 22nd, the hard-working members of AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch participated in a litter cleanup event at Bolin Creek Trail. Despite the challenging weather, our dedication to environmental protection motivated us to persist. Armed with eco-friendly bags and trash pickers, we diligently combed through the trail, clearing plastic bottles, papers, and debris to restore the trail’s natural beauty and protect the local ecosystem.

This activity reinforced the urgency of environmental conservation and the need to encourage responsible behavior within the community. By actively engaging in efforts like this cleanup, we aim to instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment. As AYLUS members, we remain committed to contributing to our community’s well-being through various service initiatives, fostering a cleaner and greener future.
