On Monday, June 26th, the enthusiastic Pearland Branch volunteers convened at the West Pearland Library to conduct a comprehensive health education run-through for the upcoming health fair. The purpose of this gathering was to review and refine all the posters, ensuring the messages being conveyed were clear and impactful.
The dedicated volunteers meticulously examined each poster, discussing the specific topics they covered and the key messages they aimed to deliver. Recognizing the importance of tailoring the educational content to different age groups, the volunteers engaged in a collaborative brainstorming session to determine the most appropriate wording and language to effectively educate students of varying ages. By crafting age-appropriate questions, they sought to encourage active participation and enhance the overall learning experience. To further motivate the students, the volunteers even prepared prizes to be awarded for active engagement and participation.
Under the guidance of Sharon Cheng, the director at Light and Salt Association, the volunteers worked diligently to develop effective strategies and refine the manuscript for the event. Drawing upon Sharon Cheng’s expertise and guidance, the volunteers honed their approach, ensuring that their delivery would be engaging, informative, and impactful.
