San Diego Branch Assisted Baja Dog Rescue for Dog Adoption on June 10, 2023

Reported by ERIC LI

On June 10, 2023, AYLUS San Diego Branch Helped Baja Dog Rescue for Dog Adoption.

Baja Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer organization funded completely on donations. They rescue and rehabilitate unwanted, abandoned and neglected dogs and find them loving happy homes. They are a No-Kill animal rescue and they literally give them a second chance at life. And everybody deserves a second chance.  They have helped over 11,000 dogs to date, and have a fully equipped veterinary on site that is staffed 24/7 for treating dogs with cancer, renal failure, parvo, distemper treatments, heart failure, eye diseases, skin disease, GI tract diseases, etc.

Every week volunteers of Baja Dog Rescue take a few dogs in their personal van, and set up tents for adoption in various shopping plazas across San Diego.  AYLUS members came to help set up the tents, clean up after the dogs, introduce the dogs to potential adopters, respond to inquiries, ask for donations and many others.

On June 10, 2023, the following members offered 4 hours of services. They are all new to AYLUS and will order AYLUS shirt for future participation.

Emma Li, William Liu, Kevin Luo, Annika Haggensen.

It is our first time helping Baja Dog Rescue and plan to come to help every Saturday during the summer.
