Through working with Dublin Food Bank In the fall of 2022, AYLUS-Columbus established collaboration with Dublin Food Pantry. One of their board members is also on the board of Dublin Education Foundation, which has extensive collaborations with the Dublin City School district. In order to promote volunteerism in the local Chinese American society ad expanding the influence of AYLUS, AYLUS-Columbus collaborated with the local Chinese language school (Ohio Contemporary Chinese School-OCCS) and invited representatives from the Dublin Education Foundation and Dublin City School to give a presentation on volunteerism and networking on February 26th. In order to prepare for the event, AYLUS-Columbus members Rachel Zhu and Brenna Li prepared two posters introducing the student-led volunteer group of AYLUS. The posters detailed the history and achievements of AYLUS-Columbus since it founding in 2016.
These posters will be used in the OCCS event on February 26th event and other future AYLUS events.
