On February 26th, 2023, members of the AYLU-Columbus branch started their first in-person tutoring session at Abbey Church Village in Dublin, Ohio. This community is part of the national church residences and serves low income families, including new immigrant families.
Three AYLUS Columbus members, Ayden He, Brenna Li, and Estella Li and 6 students ranging from grade 1 to grade 6 first introduced themselves to each other. The volunteers then help the students with their math and English homework. It was a very smooth and productive session! The volunteers look forward to the next session.
