In January, AYLUS Pearland members are actively preparing for the first Pearland Lunar New Year hosted by the Pearland Chinese Association and AYLUS Pearland. Hundreds of visitors are expected to attend this event.
AYLUS Pearland members were the main volunteer force for the event and their tasks included distributing boba tea and various snacks, making cotton candy and popcorn, hosting games, face painting, ping pong, chess, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese culture quiz, Chinese traditional costume photography, and making art balloons. AYLUS volunteers also prepared a raffle drawing and prize at the information desk. The following volunteers prepared for the festival (Jan. 15, 2 hours)
