Columbus Branch Volunteered at the Craft Tables at a Lunar New Year Event in Jerome High School on January 20th, 2023

On January 20th, 2023, the second annual Lunar New Year (LNY) celebration was held at the Dublin Jerome High School. Many Jerome students participated in the event, including many of the AYLUS members, who took various volunteering roles in the event. AYLUS was in charge of the craft tables at the event, including the year of the rabbit bookmarks, lucky bracelets, and the papercutting crafts. Volunteers, Ethan Liu and Kyle Jiang were at the bookmark table, Brenna Li was at the bracelet table, and Rachel Zhu was volunteering at the papercutting craft table, with a few parents. They helped set up the craft tables, assisted the students who visited the tables in selecting materials and styles of the crafts they were interested in making, gave out sample crafts as event souvenirs, as well as cleaned up the craft area at the end of the well-attended festival event.
