As one event of the annual Dreamfest celebration in Cary honors Martin Luther King Jr., four members of AYLUS Chapel Hill Branch volunteered with other local students together at Good Hope Farm on MLK day, January 16th, 2023. This event was is one of the farm’s largest with over 60 volunteers from many different organizations. We worked hard moving literal tons of dirt and mulch from a large pile to individual plots of farmland and spread them in preparation for welcoming new plant life in the spring.
Volunteers who participated in this event are Matthew Guo (3 hours), Nicholas Wang (2.5 hours), Ethan Li (2.5 hours), and Colin Zhong (2.5 hours).
