In the month of December 2022, the East Cobb Branch of AYLUS held Youth Tutoring activity online.
The goal of this tutoring is to provide guidance to students who are struggling with Biology, Math, and English through 1 on 1 tutoring sessions.
The tutors taught over zoom. Albert used the Campbell Biology textbook and the Precalculus curriculum. He helped the students learn and analyze diagrams and concepts, as well as reviewed the questions the student missed on pass exams. For math questions, Albert showed the work step by step to the student.
Sean and Bruce helped the students to learn English. Jerry taught 2nd grade Math and ELA.
The lesson has been going really smoothly and have gotten positive feedback from the students. It is fulfilling to help students understand difficult material.
