AYLUS Twin Cities Transcribes Documents for Citizen Archivist (1/14/23 – 1/16/23)

From Saturday, January 14 to Monday, January 16, four Aylus Twin Cities volunteered virtually on the Citizens Archival Website. Each volunteer did varying hours of work and was responsible for transcribing historical documents and tagging them for easy search and organization. They learned about a variety of topics, such as US Tree Nut Exports, Reagan’s time in office, Oceanography, and Environmental Sustainability. We were glad to help support the US Government and researchers in finding their documents to retain history.

Participants: Curtis Ying (1 hr), Karn Kaura (1 hr), Tony Liu (1 hr), Jeffery Chen (3.5 hr)
