On Sunday, October 9th, volunteers from the AYLUS Columbus Branch performed music at the Senior Star at the Dublin Retirement Village, an assisted living facility in Dublin, Ohio. From 3 to 4 p.m., volunteers played music for the senior residents on the piano and violin.
Additionally, volunteer Rachel Zhu provided a program for the music they performed, and created a display to showcase AYLUS’s work around the community. In order to promote interactivity with the seniors, volunteers offered to take song requests from the seniors for the next performance. Turnout for the performance was great, and the residents enjoyed the music. The volunteers continue to beautify their community through their talent and artistry.
