Chapel Hill Branch Donates Handmade Gifts to Kits to Heart on Oct 22, 2022

This erratic-weathered fall month of October, AYLUS Chapel Hill has once again provided the most elegant, stupendous gifts to Kits to Heart. Just like the melody of scarlet, feuille-morte, and marigold outdoors, our donations featured a diverse array—soulful handwritten letters, intricate bracelets, and heartfelt pillows. These were truly warm and well-made. On another note, autumn also marks change. And accordingly, this month, through discussion and agreement with both Kits to Heart and UNC Lung Cancer Screening Initiative Club, AYLUS Chapel Hill has extended and refocused efforts to the local UNC cancer hospital. Supplies have been prepared and we are ready to go tout de suite…Overall, October has been a success…and though the growth of the branches outside may halt, our branch will continue to thrive.

Volunteers who participated in this event are: Matthew Guo (5 hours), Eric Sun (4 hours), Kevin Chen (4 hours), Luna Chen (4 hours), Grace Gao (4 hours), Ethan Li (2 hours), Nicholas Wang (2.5 hours)
