On Oct. 15th 2022, Livingston Huaxia Chinese school hosted a bake sale as part of its 20th anniversary celebration. West Essex branch members baked cookies and red bean sticky cakes to support the bake sale.
The Livingston Huaxia Chinese school (LHXCS) was founded in September 2002 in Livingston NJ. In the past 20 years, LHXCS has carried on its mission of “Exemplify our open and confident Chinese cultural community by teaching Chinese language, promoting Chinese culture, and fostering multicultural exchanges!” Many of West Essex AYLUS members go/went to LHXCS to learn Chinese language and Chinese culture.
West Essex AYLUS members Jasmine Chen and Sophia Yan baked more than 100 sugar cookies and a package of red bean sticky rice cake to support LHXCS.
