Columbus Branch are invited to host a craft booth with two craft tables in a community event, called the Founders Event, organized by Dublin Food Bank.
In September (September 19th, 2022), members in the Columbus branch were busy preparing for the event. Branch member Rachel Zhu selected the a Chinese button knot bracelet (https://youtu.be/BbLJP8Gzgsw) and an origami bookmark (https://youtu.be/KrdqRMeFHR4) as the two craft projects. Amazon product links to the materials needed for the two projects were sent to the food bank for purchase. The members also made approximately 50 of each of the crafts to be used as samples and handouts at the event.
Branch member Brenna Li also helped designing table runners with AYLUS logos to be placed on the craft tables for the Founders’ event and other future events, and pre-cut 30 bracelet-sized strings, as part of the preparation work.
The branch is ready for the event on October 2nd.
