The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the cleaning up environment event at Carmel Valley Recreation Center on July 9, 2022
Trash pollution is a prevalent issue in many parts of the world today, harming the environment as well as wildlife within the area. We believe that as global citizens, it is our mission to protect our Mother Earth. With this in mind, the San Diego Brach kicked off the cleaning up environment event, which is an attempt to help the local environment suffering from the buildup of trash. We believe that by our efforts to keep the local environment clean, we will create conditions that are much more conducive to biodiversity.
On Saturday, July 9, 2022, AYLUS San Diego Committee conducted the clean-up event at Carvel Valley Recreation Center, removing trash such as plastic bottles, bags, caps, balls, straws and metal cans.
Members that participated (2.5 hours for each) were: ENKE LUO, Angela Li, Helena Jiang, Ryan Bai, Steven Xiao, Bruce Xiao
