On Friday, June 24, 2022, AYLUS Twin Cities hosted another food packing session at Feed My Starving Children. The event lasted from 7-8:45 PM, totaling 1 hour and 45 minutes. The 8 AYLUS members, along with a few other volunteers, packed 20 boxes of food, feeding 27 children for a year. This session was a little different from typical sessions, as Feed My Starving Children recently switched from a rice and nutrient bag to only a nutrient bag. This would allow rural areas to receive the food to better support their own economy by using local-grown crops as a rice substitute. We hope that our continued commitment to Feed My Starving Children will help fight the hunger crisis.
