On Sunday, May 22nd, volunteers from the AYLUS Columbus Branch performed at Senior Star at the Dublin Retirement Facility. Instead of their usual 5:00 p.m. performances, they switched to a 3:30 p.m. performance this week, which greatly increased resident turnout. The entire performance area was packed with enthusiastic resident listeners. For one hour, the group of volunteer musicians performed a diverse repertoire of piano music from many different composers and music levels. There were several elementary-level students playing that day, and the residents seemed to love the younger children. Overall, the music the volunteers performed was great, and they experienced the largest audience turnout of any Senior Star performance this year.
