Greater Princeton AYLUS Prepares for its Fourth Youth Benefit Gala (10th) in May 2022

In May, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) prepared for its 4th Youth Benefit Gala (to be hosted in Channing Hall at 50 Cherry Hill Rd, Princeton, NJ 08540), scheduled for June 4th, 2022, from 1 to 7 pm.

The 4th Youth Benefit Gala is to raise funds to support New Jersey First Responder heroes. Members will use the funds collected to support local heroes. Details of the gala are on the poster. A sign up starts right away, with the list growing longer and longer! 

On May 15th (3 hrs for all), GPA leaders Cosner Yang and Kevin Chen led a rehearsal meeting at King’s Academy of Dance Arts (144 Tanglewood Drive, Branchburg, NJ 08876) to get all gala hosts prepared for the event. GPA hosts who joined the rehearsal were Audrey Wang, Judy Zhang, Annie Dong, Alejandro Wu-Mula, David Ji, Xing Liao, Andrew Yao, in addition to stage manager Purui Cui, and volunteers Victor Yu, Zhihan Zhang, Bowen Hou, and AYLUS advisors Fan Wang, Jia Chen, and more.

In addition, GPA leaders Kevin Chen (5/15, 2 hrs; 5/22, 2 hrs), Grant Li (5/15, 2 hrs), and Olivia Ruofei Mao (5/15, 2 hrs) promoted AYLUS among their friends and recruited new members for GPA branch. Cosner Yang (5/18, 3 hrs), Cynthia Jinghui Huang (5/18, 3 hrs), and AYLUS advisors Jia Chen, and more, visited the Gala facility to arrange the performance and art exhibitions.

GPA members Gina Shen (5/22, 2 hrs), Olivia Ruofei Mao (5/22, 1 hr), Amber Yu (5/22, 1 hr), Elliott Cheng (5/22, 1 hr), and Kathie Wang (5/22, 1 hr) worked on the poem reciting piece for Gala.
