On March 5, 2022, AYLUS Pearland volunteered at the first Pearland Parks and Recreation Springfest Celebration held at Independence Park. The celebration invited thousands of Pearland residents to enjoy various games and attractions. Due to the large magnitude of this event, over 50 AYLUS members helped volunteer.
The festival started at 9:00 am and concluded at 5:00 pm and was split into two shifts, morning and afternoon. During the event, volunteers helped monitor each of the attractions and made sure that children were staying safe while having a good time. Volunteers were able to interact with community members and serve a huge role in helping out with the success of the first Springfest.
