In February, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) students continued their promotion of AYLUS youth volunteerism.
GPA members Kevin Chen (2/26, 3 hrs), and Jerry Chen (2/26, 3 hrs) promoted AYLUS among their friends and recruited Anna Weng, Tyler Fu, and Laetitia Huang! GPA member Vanessa Zhang (2/26, 2 hrs) also promoted AYLUS among her friends and recruited Helen Tung and Michael Tung for AYLUS!
GPA members carried out the In-Person Education Help Program as there are students who still look for tutoring classes to improve their academic skills in classes like math, science, writing or reading.
GPA members continued tutoring. In this time’s tutoring session (2/24, 2 hrs), Annie Miao and her tutee decided to go over some SAT math in preparation for the March SAT. They went through a practice test together and reviewed some topics including proportions and quadratic equations.
The program allows GPA members to provide reading, writing, speaking, communication, and more to their students in need of help.
