In October, the Greater Princeton branch of AYLUS (GPA) members Kevin Zhao (10/30, 1 hr), Yunlin Fu (10/30, 1 hr), and more, collected new and gently used clothing then sent them to the Salvation Army Drop Box in our communities.
This is a continuous effort of GPA members to Save a Life program with donations as we wanted to help underserved families and communities through this COVID-19 pandemic.
When people donate goods to The Salvation Army, they then sell those items at its Thrift Stores. And the proceeds are used to fund its Adult Rehabilitation Centers, where those struggling with drugs and alcohol find help, hope, and a second chance at life.
GPA calls for more members to join us for this meaningful long-term program of offering people a second chance at life by donating their household goods to Salvation Army from time to time.
