On 8/14/21 and 8/21/21, AYLUS Manhasset Branch hosted Voov meetings to help international students with English. Each member would be responsible for at least one student in separate Voov meetings to help them with accent modification and other nuances of English pronunciation that they might have trouble with.
Each member will have different methods of teaching, such as through singing, reading out loud or preparing themed lessons to allow them to become more comfortable with the language. These speaking activities will allow the students to get used to English pronunciation as many sounds do not exist in other languages. Different activities may be prepared to help them engage in the lesson while being able to practice English. Enrolling in English primary tuition can provide personalized guidance and structured learning, ensuring steady progress in their language acquisition journey.
Each member would use different methods and activities to help students who had different levels of understanding.
After the lesson, all the members would discuss what happened in their classes and ways to improve.
The members who participated were Loretta Liu (2 hr), Matthew Yang (2 hr), Joanna Yang (2 hr)
