On June 22nd, 2021, Albany branch members volunteered at the Saratoga County Animal Shelter where they bonded with cats in their “Reading Rooms” once more! Members helped their new cats become more accustomed to humans and make them ready for adoption. Their “Reading Rooms” allowed them to talk, read to, and relax with some of the shy cats that are learning to be around people. Getting used to people and hearing human voices is an important next step for undersocialized cats to feel comfortable in a real home!
