In February, 5 members of the East Cobb Branch made Valentine’s Day cards and posters for senior centers and hospital in the local area. On February 13th, they delivered these holiday cards and posters for local senior centers.
Students felt that they needed to give back to the community and celebrate the joy of Valentine’s Day by making these cards and posters for the local senior centers and delivering them. Even with the current situation of the pandemic, it did not deter the East Cobb Branch from contributing love and kindness to the local community. The senior centers welcomed the students and accepted the gifts gladly. The students were happy that their efforts came to fruition and that it acted as a gentle reminder that the members still cared and thought about the senior and staff despite the challenges of the pandemic.
