AYLUS Pearland Cleans up Centennial Park to keep Pearland Beautiful

Starting from mid-March, Keep Pearland Beautiful stopped clean up event due to COVID-19 pandemic. After contacted with the KPB director Ms.Tollefson, AYLUS volunteers teamed up to pick up trash at Centennial Park. On the beautiful Saturday morning of Sept. 26th, 2020, volunteers arrived at 7:30 AM and worked until 9:30 AM. Volunteers split into 3-persons a team to pick up trash in the park. They filled multiple trash bags with items such as plastic trash, bottles, and cans, take out containers and other styrofoam containers, and even a tire. Ultimately, members felt very proud knowing they had done a great service cleaning the environment of their city.
