Phoenix Medicine Committee Held Internal Medicine Virtual Seminar on September 26, 2020

On September 26th, at 5:30 EDT, the Phoenix AYLUS Medical Education Committee invited Dr. Yi to give a lecture on his path in internal medicine. Dr. Yi presented his history, how to succeed in the field, and some projects he has been working on as a doctor to help his community. He also offered some resources for high-school students and conducted a Q&A for those curious in the specific study of internal medicine.
This seminar was part of a series being conducted by the Medical Education Committee, to give medical workers and professionals a platform to the general public. This seminar’s speaker in particular is a senior physician who practices internal medicine in Huntsville, Alabama, where he has worked for 11 years. Dr. Yi is particularly prominent in his efforts to aid his community, being the co-founder of SCAPE, an organization of Chinese-American physicians.
