From August 24th-28th, the AYLUS Cascade Branch opened up its 2nd online chemistry prep course for middle school students. There were many signups for this class from both local areas and out-of-state areas such as Chicago.
This course was led by one of our members who held the classes over 1 hour Zoom meetings and engaged students through review questions, Kahoots, phet simulations and more. This course was meant to covered most topics in the first semester of a high school chemistry course. On the last day of the course, students were able to apply what they have learned during the week to a live iodineclock reaction experiment.
