From early April of 2020, AYLUS Columbus members have participated in series of efforts to beautify local neighborhoods.
Brenna Li and Catherine Harman regularly go through local trails or parks to pick up litters and animal waste. Catherine Harman chalk drew on neighborhood sidewalks with colorful art and encouraging words. Brenna Li and June Ni also painted rocks and placed them on the ground or trees along the trails to cheer people up. They hope to put smiles on people’s faces through little but thoughtful actions in the COVID-19 pandemic.
