AYLUS Columbus Sent Cards to Support Local Seniors

In April of 2020, AYLUS Columbus members prepared and sent cards to support local seniors on lockdown due to COVID-19. In responding to city of Dublin Kids in Dublin Service (K.I.D.S.)’s advocate to send letter to seniors, AYLUS Columbus members Catherine Harman and Brenna Li each prepared and sent 5-6 cards to seniors in local senior facilities, including Avondale National Church Residences, Friendship village, Sunrise of Dublin, and the Grand of Dublin. They also sent cards to seniors in Dublin Retirement Village, where the AYLUS group used to regularly perform music. June Ni also prepared and sent caring card to her elderly neighbor. The three girls carefully prepared the card with bright colored drawings and neat handwritings of words of encouragement. The pandemic brings out the many colors of the human experience. The members hope these bright colors give lots of love and support for the seniors!
