From 3/24/2020 through 04/22/2020, AYLUS Columbus members sent thank-you cards and gifts to local service workers. Due to COVID-19, many non-essential businesses have been closed and most people are able to safely work remotely from home. However, many essential workers are still working on site every day amidst the risk of infection. In order to show appreciation for the commitment and dedication of these workers, AYLUS Columbus members Amy Xuan, Andrea Yu, Brenna Li, and Katie Lu prepared thank-you cards and small gifts such as nitrile gloves, hand sanitizer, Emergen C packets, alcohol wipes, snacks, and face masks to local service workers, such as waste management professionals and mail carriers, to thank them for their continued services to maintain basic orders of community lives.
